Welcome Dr. Smyth, DDS to the Practice!
September 13, 2023 – A warm greeting to all of our patients! I am very excited to announce the addition of Dr. Thomas Smyth, to our team at Gallagher Dentistry and Facial Pain Center!
I first met Dr. Smyth as we were both enrolled in a number of the same continuing education courses. His personality and wonderful patient relations was immediately noticeable. Over the last decade, our studies continued to coincide. Many times he and I were the only dentists from Minnesota in these groups. When our office’s long term, wonderful associate Dr. Angela Marone announced she would be departing, I approached him immediately to see if he would be interested in joining our team.
If you saw Dr. Angela as an in-network provider for your insurance, please know Dr. Smyth is a provider for the exact same insurance plan.
This fall Dr. Smyth will be part-time at our office, phasing in to Wednesdays and Thursdays, with more days to follow. We are currently accepting new patients.
Dr. Smyth is a Minnesota native with over 20 years’ experience as a general and restorative dentist. He received his undergraduate degree from Xavier University, followed immediately by attending the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. After graduation Dr. Smyth served as a resident at St. Anthony Hospital, Oklahoma City, and the Chief resident at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, Connecticut. He has a wife and three children, and lives just south of the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
